Pop-Up Workshops + Community Events

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

To meet people where they are, rather than only asking them to come to a community workshop, the GPU included “pop-up” events or “intercept” meetings at existing, well-attended events in Culver City at key moments in the planning process.

Pop-ups were held at:

• October 29 – 31, 2021: Fiesta La Boo-llona

• October 9, 2021: Art Walk and Roll Festival

• February 4, 2020: Culver City Farmer’s Market

• December 11, 2019: Speaker Series

• October 20, 2019: Abilities Carnival
