What is land use and why did the City hold a workshop about this topic?

Land use describes the human use of the land, from parks to housing to retail and more. The General Plan Update is a project to revise land use priorities and establish a direction for the future of the land.

What was discussed at the workshop?

The workshop described results from community input and technical studies, reviewed the general plan vision and guiding principles, and presented different land use strategies and models of change for study in the next phase of the General Plan Update.
