Environmental Review

The City of Culver City is updating its General Plan to respond to the changing needs and conditions of the city and region and to reflect new state laws. Before the City can approve the General Plan, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requires that the City study the Plan's potential environmental impacts and mitigation measures to avoid or offset any negative impacts. The City evaluated the potential environmental impacts of the Plan using an Initial Study (IS) and determined that a full Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) will be required to analyze the GPU’s environmental effects.
