About

Welcome to the Picture Culver City website! This website provides information about three related planning efforts in Culver City: the General Plan Update, the Zoning Code Update, and the Draft Density Bonus Ordinance Update.

These exciting initiatives will result in new long-range planning documents and regulations that work together to maintain the uniqueness of Culver City and create opportunities for improvements in how we manage every aspect of our city—including economic growth, transportation, housing, climate change, and more.

Your City, Your Voice

Whether you just moved to, started doing business in, started working in, or have called Culver City your home or workplace for many years, there are opportunities for you to help shape the city’s future. Each project — the General Plan Update, the Zoning Code Update, and the Affordable Housing Ordinance — present unique opportunities for all to come together and build consensus on a variety of topics that affect daily life in Culver City. There will be a variety of opportunities for visioning, collaborating, decision-making, and more. Together we can ensure that the General Plan Update, Zoning Code, and Affordable Housing Ordinance, reflect the concerns and aspirations we all share.

The City has designed robust engagement activities, with information accessible through the “Participate” page. See below and the “Participate” page for more information about community engagement events centered around the release of the Draft General Plan.

The City hosted four open houses and one pop-up event for the community to learn about and provide feedback on the Draft General Plan. Three open houses accommodated in person and virtual attendance, and one meeting was entirely virtual. Click the links below for more information about these events.
